You've got to visit the Evangelistria Monastery. It's just a quick 9-minute drive from Skiathos Town. This place is so peaceful, and the monastery is gorgeous, set amidst lush greenery with stunning views of the island. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and take a break. What’s really cool about it is its historical significance; the monastery played a key role in the Greek War of Independence. It’s where the first Greek flag was blessed in 1807.
