Unwind on Kanapitsa Beach. It’s such a gem—golden sands, clear blue waters, and this amazing tranquil vibe that just makes you want to kick back and relax. When you get there, grab a sunbed and an umbrella. They’ve got plenty, so you can settle in and really get comfortable. The sunbeds are super comfy, and the water is perfect for swimming. It’s so clear and inviting, you’ll want to dive right in. Whether you’re just wading in the shallows or going for a full-on swim, it’s refreshing and so much fun. The gentle waves make it great for a relaxing float. Don’t forget to bring a good book or some music. There’s nothing like lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun, and losing yourself in a good story or some tunes. If you get hungry, there are a few beach bars nearby where you can grab a snack or a drink. 

Underwater Wonders 

If you’re looking for an adventure and want to see some underwater wonders, Kanapitsa is the place to be. Grab your snorkelling gear and head out into the shallow waters. You’ll be amazed at how much marine life there is right near the shore. You’ll see colourful fish darting around, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot some starfish or octopus hiding among the rocks. For diving, there are a few spots around Kanapitsa that are just incredible. There are rocky outcrops and coral formations that are home to even more diverse sea life. It’s like entering another world down there. If you’re not already a certified diver, there are local dive shops where you can take a quick course and join a guided dive. Both snorkelling and diving here are such peaceful and mesmerising experiences. The water is warm and calm, which makes it enjoyable. Plus, it’s not every day you get to see such a rainbow of underwater scenery.

You’ll cruise past rugged cliffs, lush greenery, and these tiny little beaches that you’d never find on your own. And no chance of getting bored—there’s usually music playing and drinks flowing to add to the laid-back and fun atmosphere. 

Spend A Day In Skiathos 

Drive 13 minutes into Skiathos and explore the Old Town. Start by just getting lost in the maze of alleyways with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses, and vibrant bougainvillea everywhere. Every corner you turn, there's something new to discover—cute little shops selling handmade crafts, cosy cafés, and stunning old churches. The architecture is charming, with a mix of traditional Greek and Venetian influences. Make sure you visit the Church of the Three Hierarchs. It’s one of the most beautiful spots in the Old Town, with amazing views from the top. The courtyard is peaceful, a perfect spot to take a breather. Stop by a taverna for some local flavours. The food is fantastic—fresh seafood, delicious moussaka, and amazing mezes and don't forget to try the local wine. In the evenings, the Old Town has a magical vibe. The streets are lit up, and the bars and restaurants come alive. It's a great place to enjoy a leisurely dinner or grab a drink and just soak up the atmosphere.
