Things To Do
Plaza Elegance And Splendour

Saunter across the gorgeous plaza that connects Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Maqueda. Piazza Vigliena, more often known as Quattro Canti, is notable for its spectacular panorama since the crossroads is ringed by a complete circle of curving facades that appear to dissolve into the blue vault of the sky. Its façade is individually lit at various times of day, earning it the name "Il Teatro del Sole" (Theatre of the Sun). As you wander through this lively square, surrounded by charming shops and bustling cafes, let the enchanting atmosphere of Quattro Canti transport you to a bygone era.

Conquer The Majestic

Go on a trip to Mount Etna ! The top of Europe's tallest active volcano and see its verdant woods, lava deserts and hiking trails. Have a glass of wine from the Etna wine region while you travel. Don't be shocked if you find yourself skiing downhill if you decide to visit in the winter. Travel just a little distance from Taormina to see the Alcantara Valley and the Alcantara Gorges, where some of Italy's most magnificent mountain villages are found.

Beach Daze!

Relax on Mondello Beach; this gorgeous and well-known beach is a Sicilian icon! It's busiest in the summer and is a top attraction for tourists. The water is perfect in the summer, but it's also comfortable to swim in during the spring and fall, which makes it ideal to travel even in the winter!

Blast From The Past

Learn about this intriguing cathedral in Palermo, which features a wide variety of architectural styles brought to Palermo by the city's many conquerors. The church, which was built in 1185 under Pope Gregory I’s order, served as a mosque and a crypt at various times throughout its history. It has Moorish influence, with a beautiful central basilica and a lofty renaissance clock tower. Within its walls rests the grave of Emperor Frederick II and a treasure chamber filled with artefacts from the church's many eras.
