Currency can be changed at currency exchange offices, banks, as well as at the post office. In the resort areas both Visa and Mastercard cards and euro in cash are accepted for payment.
When exchanging money, please note that currency exchange offices may charge a commission for each transaction. There should be an announcement about this.
Banks are open from 8.30 to 17.00 (lunch breaks from 12.00 to 13.30), except Saturday and Sunday.

Picture-Postcard Town
Simply walking through Kas's historic core is a delight! This picturesque Turkish village is well known for their cobblestone lanes, brightly painted houses, and flower-lined walkway. Despite the influx of summertime visitors, the town has kept much of its historic character. Meander through the town's labyrinth of winding alleys, shops, and cafes, stopping to take in the sights and sounds of the town's central plaza and waterfront. The ancient concrete tomb of Kral Mezar (Lion's Tomb) dates to the 14th century and is another Kas must-see!
See Incredible Greek Architecture
Visit the Instagram-worthy arena of the Kas Hellenistic Theatre, which is about a 10-minute walk from Kas-Central Town’s Plaza. Greek in design, the theatre known as "Antiphellus" first opened in the 1st century BC and underwent restoration. In its heyday, it could accommodate up to 4,000 roaring spectators thanks to its majestic design, which is reminiscent of ancient Greek theatres.
Explore Kaleköy Village
Be enchanted by a small Turkish town on a cliff with a view of Kekova Island and the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Visit Simena Castle, the village's main attraction, dominating the hamlet from its peak. The road up to the castle is lined with stores and cafés where you can rest and take in the view.
