Currency can be changed at currency exchange offices, banks, as well as at the post office. In the resort areas both Visa and Mastercard cards and euro in cash are accepted for payment.

When exchanging money, please note that currency exchange offices may charge a commission for each transaction. There should be an announcement about this.

Banks are open from 8.30 to 17.00 (lunch breaks from 12.00 to 13.30), except Saturday and Sunday.

Drive 6 miles and discover Butterfly Valley, this hidden jewel tucked in the Mula Province is a fantastic destination to be surrounded by the beautiful, lush green valley. While 100 different types of butterflies fly over you, take a dip in the water of white sandy beaches. Regular shuttle boats ply between Ölü Deniz Beach and Butterfly Valley from May to October.

Detour To The Ruins Of Tlos

Discover the old city of Tlos, which is full of myths and legends, and go back in time. Stroll around the historic Acropolis, take photos at the Ottoman castle, then walk to the top of the hill to see the ancient Lycian rock tombs with their elaborate carvings. Don’t leave without seeing the magnificent Roman theatre, where the reverberations of bygone plays are audible even now. Visiting Tlos is like stepping into a magical time machine!

Day Trip To Fethiye

Fethiye is a great cultural getaway from the beach; only nine miles away, you'll find a harbour-front city set against a backdrop of Lycian tombs. Climb up the hill to the tomb of Amyntos and gaze out over the Mediterranean for a spectacular vantage point! The Fethiye Museum is a great place to learn about Turkish history since it has priceless artefacts excavated from ancient Lycian cities. Before you depart Fethiye, make sure to visit the world-renowned fish market, stop by several charming eateries serving delectable Turkish cuisine, and, of course, bring home some authentic Turkish souvenirs!
