There are more than 20 restaurants and bars scattered throughout the resort, offering visitors a chance to explore and enjoy themselves. However, the overall atmosphere is on the quieter side. There are plenty of exciting activities to enjoy after a day on the slopes, such as snowmobiling, paragliding, and dog sledding.
Shopaholics will be delighted to know that a market takes place weekly, alternating between the Chamrousse 1650 and Chamrousse 1750 areas. After shopping rest those muscles by indulging in an enjoyable experience at the spa-wellness centre in the resort. Want to head out for some delicious food? We recommend La Crémaillère L'Alpe d'Huez for some excellent French cuisine, make sure you try their fondue because it is to die for!
