Turkish lira. with the banknotes (TL) worth 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 liras available in circulation.

Currency can be changed at currency exchange offices, banks, as well as at the post office. In the resort areas both Visa and Mastercard cards and euro in cash are accepted for payment.

When exchanging money, please note that currency exchange offices may charge a commission for each transaction. There should be an announcement about this.

Banks are open from 8.30 to 17.00 (lunch breaks from 12.00 to 13.30), except Saturday and Sunday.

The water at Illica is shallow, making it ideal for kids to play in the water. While this is an ideal way to spend an afternoon, other options such as thermal springs and mud baths are also popular!

Take A Boat Tour

Set sail towards the island of Chios, the fifth largest of which is a historical gem off the Aegean coast. Make sure to visit the 11th-century monastery of Neo Moni and observe its mosaic floors, along with those of Daphni and Hosios Loukas, which are often thought to be the best examples of Macedonian Renaissance art in all of Greece.

Check out the Aqua Toy City in Ceşme, which is open in June, July, August, and September. The massive water park spans over 12 acres and offers approximately 200 different entertainment options and fun-filled activities, making it ideal for all age groups to visit.
