Argassi might not be the party capital, but, there are a plethora of bars and pubs, each one a mini-celebration waiting to happen on those warm summer evenings. If your dance shoes are itching for more action, just hop on a taxi to Lagunas, a mere 15 minutes away, for a taste of intense nightlife, big clubs, and discos. But Argassi's charm lies in its quieter allure, where you can kick back with a cocktail, and indulge in the rhythm of laid-back bliss. Brace yourself for special events, from live gigs to quiz nights, hosted by the local bars during the peak season (July and August). The streets come alive with a cheerful buzz until the stars take centre stage. 

Take A Detour

Drive a mile into Zante town and wander through charming alleyways filled with chic cafes and boutiques boasting elegant architecture. Make a beeline for the 17th-century mansion of Alexander Roma, once the Greek parliament president, nestled near Solomos Square. Inside, you'll find a time capsule of family portraits, art pieces, and vintage furniture. Ready for a shopping spree? Alexander Roma Street is your playground, packed with jewellery stores and indie boutiques. If you're lucky enough to be here in August, check out the Dionysos festival! It’s a massive open-air flea market that steals the show, lasting over a week.

Hop on a boat and let your captain guide you through the accessible nooks and crannies of Zante's mystical Blue Caves. But hold onto your snorkels, mateys—there's a chance to drop anchor and plunge into the vibrant blue playground. Dive deep into an hour of blues, turquoises, and purples that waltz across the cave walls. But the adventure doesn't end there! On the journey back, make a pit stop at Shipwreck Bay, the crown jewel of Greek beaches. Conquer Mount Skopos and unlock the secret lair of the Church of the Virgin Mary of Skopiotissa! This architectural gem, born in the groovy era of 1624, perches at the peak, serving not just divine vibes but also panoramic sea views that will have you feeling on top of the world. Make sure you pack sturdy hiking boots and carry plenty of water for your trek up Mount Skopos.
